To be honest, I’m not completely sure.
What? How does the creator of the so-called Peakspective not even know what the Peakspective is? Are we all doomed then, to never know what the Peakspective is, for the rest of eternity? I don’t want to repeat the Peakspective again. My mind is losing it just thinking about it and there I’ve gone and done it again.
Alright, enough tomfoolery. It’s about time I answer the question. Well, for a start, the Peakspective is a website. You’re on it right now, aren’t you? It’s also soon to be a newsletter as well (I hope). And it might even become a podcast, YouTube channel, book or any other form of media you can think of. It could even become a game show!
But I think the aim of this, speaking from the perspective (see what I did there?) of the creator of this, is that it’s meant to be a way of living. Last year, I embarked on a challenge to push myself to my upper limits. It was called the Peak Promotion. It has that same aliteration that is now present in the Peakspective. It was like those online self-improvement challenges you see everywhere, except I created it for myself. You could say I was inspired by the content around me.
Some of the rules which I had to follow every day (but didn’t really) were to take a cold shower in the morning, to refrain from using devices when eating any meal, and to do one hour of deep work. This isn’t relevant but I guess it’s kind of shaped this website now, it being the Peak Promotion.
It will be a place where I share things I learn from life. Lessons from life. Life is unbelievably hard sometimes but the beauty of it is from the lessons we gain. An easy life wouldn’t be well lived. The Peakspective is literally a perspective. It’s an attempt from me to create my own philosophy, my own literal way of living. I read books, watch YT videos, read podcasts and listen to people around me including my parents. All of this information culminates into the person I become.
So, the Peakspective may have some insights for you to apply to your own life. With this, I’m not trying to be a life guru. I just want to share lessons that may be helpful. The real hard thing is being different from most. You probably might already be subscribed to newsletters and may read other blogs already on improving the self. I hope I might be able to offer something different.
So, you may join me on this journey then, to get one step closer to understanding this puzzle called life.
